NHL Agent: There's a Reason Why Nobody Wants to Play in Vancouver
If you ask Kevin Epp, the agent for Vancouver Canucks defenseman Travis Hamonic, he'll tell you the media out of Vancouver only post negative stories and that it's a big reason why nobody wants to play for the Canucks.
Epp was recently a guest on the Donnie and Dhali Show and had this to say about how things are different in western Canada:
Epp on Vancouver media : The media narratives are mostly negative, VAN market is hostile and difficult, media does damage. Players do not want to come to play here, most stories are negative.

Epp went on to mention that Hamonic was supposed to travel to Montreal and play last weekend for the Canucks but was under the weather. He mentioned the Canucks defenseman is fully vaccinated and will now be able to travel to the United States for games. No telling if the team feels like he will be a part of the team moving forward of if a trade is coming.
