Oilers Make Big Lineup Change For Game Against Kings

The Edmonton Oilers have to be ecstatic right now, as star defenseman Darnell Nurse is ready to return to the lineup for Sunday night's game against the Los Angeles Kings.

Nurse last played on November 18th when the Oilers faced off against the Winnipeg Jets. Fresh off of signing an eight-year, $74 million contract, he's been excellent for Edmonton this year thus far. In 16 games played, he has recorded 11 assists and sports a plus-4 rating.

Even though the Oilers lost Nurse for a decent amount of time, they still are in a very good spot in the standings. At this juncture, they have a 16-6-0 record and are second in the Pacific Division. With Nurse now healthy, they should continue to remain this dominant moving forward.
