Sabres' New Addition Leaves Debut With Injury

On Saturday night, Malcolm Subban made his debut with the Buffalo Sabres. However, it certainly wasn't the best night for him, as he left the game early due to an injury.

Subban was just acquired by the Chicago Blackhawks a few days ago. Not only did he get injured in his first game with the Sabres, but he also struggled mightily. He would allow six goals on 25 shots, which equates to a very low .760 SV%. In his defense, though, they were playing a true contender in the Carolina Hurricanes.

We'll have to wait and see if Subban's injury is going to make him miss any more action from here. At this time, goaltenders Dustin Tokarski and Craig Anderson are already out, so Aaron Dell may have to be their guy moving forward.

Nevertheless, this was such a hard way for Subban's tenure to begin in Buffalo. Here's to hoping he will be able to redeem himself soon.
