Sunday Game Between Coyotes And Stars Postponed
Sunday night's game between the Arizona Coyotes and Dallas Stars has now been postponed. This is the 81st contest this season to suffer this fate.
At this time, the Stars have a grand total of 11 players in COVID-19 protocol. Jamie Benn, Jason Robertson, Miro Heiskanen, Ryan Suter, Luke Glendening, Roope Hintz, Joel Kiviranta, Jani Hakanpaa, Radek Faksa, Michael Raffl and Esa Lindell is the complete list of players for the Stars. That's a hefty chunk of players to be out to say the least. Even if some clear protocols by Sunday, there stands a very good chance that others will enter it.
It also has been noted that we are likely to see more games postponed because of attendance restrictions for Canadian teams. With that, don't be surprised when we get that announcement in the near future.
Ultimately, when it comes to the Coyotes and Stars game, one can understand why the league opted to do this. The Stars went from one player to 11 in a very short amount of time, so it seems it will get worse before it becomes better for them.
