Video: Carter Hart's Horrible Turnover Leads To Goal
The Philadelphia Flyers are continuing to implode, as they lost their eighth straight contest on Sunday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning. However, no moment was worse than when goaltender Carter Hart skated out of his net and made one of the worst turnovers you'll ever see. This would allow Mathieu Joseph to score the easiest goal of his career.
Hart's misplay led the Flyers to immediately pull him. It ultimately made sense, as it not only was horrible decision-making, but also the fifth goal that the 23-year-old goaltender let in on just 15 shots.
However, even with Hart's rough night, he's still having a pretty solid year thus far. In 15 games, he may sport a 5-7-3 record, but he also has a respectable .911 SV%. He certainly is playing better than last season when he had an .877 SV%. Here's to hoping games like this one do not become the norm or the Flyers will only get worse from here.
