Video: Connor McDavid Ejected For Boarding Adrian Kempe

In Sunday night's game against the Los Angeles Kings, Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid was ejected and given a five-minute major for boarding following a hit on Adrian Kempe.

McDavid's hit wasn't necessarily the biggest of ones, but it did lead to Kempe's head hitting the boards. The 25-year-old forward also did bleed as a result of the contact. 

McDavid isn't known as being a dirty player and it's clear that he didn't purposely aim to injure Kempe. However, the hit was still from behind, so it certainly warranted a penalty, at a minimum.
