Video: Coyotes And Rangers Game Ends With Scrum
After the final buzzer, the Arizona Coyotes and New York Rangers did not stop playing. Instead, we would see the two teams get into a scrum after Jacob Trouba knocked Clayton Keller down. From here, Phil Kessel surprisingly dropped the gloves with Ryan Lindgren.
The tension between the two teams certainly skyrocketed after Trouba cross-checked Keller in the face earlier in the game. It's understandable that the 23-year-old forward was angry after a hit like that, so seeing these two get into another scrum later was not too shocking. However, Kessel fighting is a rare occurrence and he didn't do too bad at all in the process.
The Rangers and Coyotes are also set to play one another on January 22nd, 2022. Even with Arizona being out of the playoff picture, this contest is starting to feel like a must-watch one. We could be in a lot more physicality, as it's clear that these two just do not like one another.
