Video: Hurricanes' Trocheck Kicked Out for Boarding vs Sabres' Thompson

Carolina Hurricanes forward Vincent Trocheck was kicked out on Saturday night against the Buffalo Sabres after he delivered a dangerous check on Sabres forward Tage Thompson.

Trocheck received a five-minute boarding penalty and a game misconduct. It was a crazy scene as Trocheck slammed Thompson into the boards from behind after the Sabres forward was trying to turn back in his own end.

While Thompson's Sabres teammates came to his defense, Trocheck mentioned after the game he didn't think it was worthy of a five-minute and a game.

He's not in the conversation for being a dirty player so don't expect to see Trocheck suspended after this one. Here's the hit, you be the judge, dirty or no?
