Video: Logan Brown Scores First Goal With Blues
Logan Brown made his debut with the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night and left a very solid first impression. The 23-year-old scored his first goal with his hometown team, as he beat goaltender Brian Elliott with a hard wrist shot.
Brown's had a rough go of things over his career, as the former first-round pick was never able to cement himself in the Ottawa Senators' lineup on a permanent basis. He requested a trade during the offseason because of this and was finally dealt to the Blues.
So far with his fresh start, he's been doing quite well. In 19 games this season with the Springfield Thunderbirds, he has six goals and 17 points in 19 games. If he continues to score at the NHL level, he could very well stick around even when players return from their injuries.
Nonetheless, congrats to Logan for getting on the board!
