Video: Maple Leafs' Wayne Simmonds Snaps After Wild Sequence!
After seeing his team's best player get jumped, their best young defenseman get kneed and their goalie take a knee to the side of the head, Toronto Maple Leafs forward Wayne Simmonds had seen enough and wanted to fight anyone on the Winnipeg Jets. Insert 6'7 defenseman Logan Stanley.
The two tried to go toe-to-toe earlier in the period but the refs jumped in long before they could get the haymakers flowing. It all stemmed from a crazy third period in Winnipeg as Pierre-Luc Dubois jumped Auston Matthews. Neal Pionk kneed Rasmus Sandin and Sandin left with what looked like a horrible leg injury and then Jason Spezza took exception and delivered a crazy flying knee to Pionk's head as he was falling.

Simmonds and his line mate Kyle Clifford knew what their job was once they got pushed back out on the ice by Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe.
Here's the wild sequence as Simmonds isn't afraid of anyone in the league and let them know you mess with the Leafs, it all goes through him and Clifford:
Dubois took one look at Clifford and Simmonds and begged Paul Maurice to play him as much as John Tortorella did https://t.co/e3yxXVq9SD
