Video: Nathan MacKinnon Scores Beautiful Goal

After taking a huge hit by Jacob Trouba, Nathan MacKinnon scored a fantastic goal to tie the game up. The superstar center made a sweet move around defenseman K'Andre Miller before poking the puck past Adam Huska by going five hole.

It was nice to see MacKinnon to be able to return to the game at all, but this goal was such a big one for the Avalanche. Following it, Colorado scored four more unanswered goals and ultimately cemented their win in the process. 

This was also an important goal for MacKinnon personally, as he's had a bit of trouble scoring this season. In 13 games thus far, he now has two goals and 18 points. So yes, the 26-year-old has been a passing machine, but perhaps we will now him score a bit more from here, too. 

Either way, MacKinnon is once again having a dominant season and it will be fun to see what he provides us hockey fans with next.
