Video: Penguins' Kasperi Kapanen Bunts Puck In
Pittsburgh Penguins forward Kasperi Kapanen scored a very nice goal on Tuesday night against the Montreal Canadiens. The 25-year-old winger skillfully bunted the puck from midair to beat goaltender Jake Allen.
This goal would get the party rolling for the Penguins, so it was not only a sick one, but also very important, too. With this highlight reel goal, Kapanen now has seven on the season to go along with nine assists. Thus, it's been another solid year for the young forward.
These kind of goals are always fun to watch, so this could be one hockey fans talk about for a long time. Although it wasn't as crazy as the Trevor Zegras-Sonny Milano one, it still deserves a ton of praise.
The Penguins went on to defeat the Canadiens by a 5-2 final score. With this, Pittsburgh now sports a 15-8-5 record, while Montreal is 6-21-3.
