Video: Rangers Goodrow Leaves Game After Taking Puck to the Face
New York Rangers forward Barclay Goodrow is one of the best grinders in the league who is as tough as nails. Goodrow's toughness was put to the test on Wednesday night as the Rangers took on the Philadelphia Flyers. The Rangers forward took a puck right to the face.
The play happened at 13:13 of the third period in a 3-1 game. Goodrow was doing what he does best, playing some tight defense on the Flyers defender in the defensive zone and Keith Yandle's shot attempt rode up Goodrow's stick and got him right in the face.
He immediately went off and did not return. So far there's been no update on his injury but some are worried he may have damage to his eye or surrounding area.
Here's the play and don't ever question if hockey players are tough.....
