Video: Sabres' Subban Makes Behind-The-Back Save

In Friday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres goaltender Malcolm Subban robbed Evan Rodrigues with a behind-the-back save. Without a doubt, this will be one of the best saves we'll see this season.

Subban had an excellent game in general, too, as he saved 45 out of 48 shots. However, the Sabres did end up losing this contest in overtime. It's clear he did his part to keep them in this game, though.

It was a far better showing than his debut with the team, as he allowed six goals on just 25 shots against the Carolina Hurricanes. With that, he also left the contest early due to an injury. After a save like this one, however, it seems that the 27-year-old is feeling much better.

Let's see how Subban plays from here with the Sabres. It was a hard start of the season for him, as he was buried in the minors by the Chicago Blackhawks. However, him being traded to the Sabres could be just the jolt he needed to get things on track.
