Wild Extend Head Coach And Entire Coaching Staff
The Minnesota Wild have signed head coach Dean Evason to a multi-year extension. With that, they also have done the same thing with the rest of their coaching staff.
This is a big move by the organization, as it shows that they have an immense amount of trust in their current staff. In a way, this should not only be a confidence booster for them, but also the entire lineup. They know their coaches are here to stay and don't have to worry about sudden leadership changes.
It was a no-brainer for the Wild to extend Evason specifically. Since taking over, he has completely turned the Wild around and they've become real contenders. At this time, he has a 62-29-7 all-time record with the team. The Wild have also been fantastic during the 2021-22 season, too. They sport a 19-9-2 record and are second place in the Central Division.
Nevertheless, congrats to each and every coach on the Wild for their new contracts. Perhaps the Wild could even win their first ever Stanley Cup with them behind the bench.
