Florida Panthers Defenseman To Miss Time
The Florida Panthers have placed defenseman Olli Juolevi on injured reserve. Due to this, he will not be able to return to the lineup until at least January 27th's game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Juolevi has had a lot of trouble staying healthy this season. As a result of this, he has only suited up in nine contests - where he has yet to record a point. Now, the young defenseman will have to miss even more time due to this development.
The Panthers acquired Juolevi from the Vancouver Canucks earlier this season. This was good news for him, as it finally gave him the chance of having a fresh start elsewhere. The 2016 fifth-overall pick is now trying to become a mainstay at the NHL level with the Panthers, but thus far, he hasn't had much of a chance to due to his injury trouble.
Once he is healthy, it may not be too easy for him to fight his way back into the lineup. The Panthers have a lot of depth, so he will have to impress once he's ready to go.
Alas, here's to hoping Juolevi doesn't have to miss extra time and can return once he is eligible to.
