Major Help On The Way For Blues

The St. Louis Blues are getting a big boost, as Vladimir Tarasenko, Colton Parayko, and Brayden Schenn are all expected to play in Monday night's contest against the Nashville Predators.

The Blues are currently battling for the first-place spot in the Central Division. With their 22-11-5 record, they are currently third, but only two points behind the Colorado Avalanche and Predators. Needless to say, it's a very tight race right now.

Tarasenko is looking like a legitimate star again this season. After multiple years with serious injury trouble, he's back to being one of the team's best scorers. The truth is in his statistics, as he has 14 goals and 34 points in 34 contests.

Parayko is the team's best shutdown defenseman, so they certainly will be ecstatic to have him running their blueline again. The veteran is having a pretty strong season offensively, too. In 36 games, he has four goals and 12 helpers. That's not bad production at all from the back end.

Schenn is having a little bit of a slow start to the year, but the Blues would definitely rather have him playing than not. In 22 games, he has five goals and 12 points. Now that's he ready to go, perhaps it will spark him to rebound. That would be excellent for St. Louis.
