NHL Announces 2022 All-Star Rosters
The NHL announced the rosters for the 2022 All-Star game and get ready for some glorified shinny that means absolutely nothing. While that's a story for another day, the teams were announced and each division is filled with talent. A ton of first timers made the list which is always great to see:
Atlantic Division
The Atlantic Division includes 2x Stanley Cup champions Victor Hedman and Andrei Vasilevskiy, the two most recent Conn Smythe Trophy winners, as well as 2020-21 Maurice “Rocket” Richard winner Auston Matthews. #NHLAllStar #NHLStats

Metropolitan Division
The Metropolitan Division will see young stars Jack Hughes (age 20) and Adam Fox (age 23) make their #NHLAllStar debut alongside veterans Alex Ovechkin (8th appearance) and Claude Giroux (7th appearance). #NHLAllStar #NHLStats

Central Division
The young stars have taken over the Central Division, with six players age 25 or younger – the most among all teams. It is also the highest-scoring division (119 combined goals). #NHLAllStar #NHLStats

Pacific Division
All-Star weekend is set for February 4/5 in Vegas and it's setting itself up to be a massive event. The coaches for each team will be - Andrew Brunette for the Atlantic Division/Florida Panthers, Rod Brind'Amour for the Metropolitan/Carolina Hurricanes, Jared Bednar for the Central/Colorado Avalanche, and Peter DeBoer for the Pacific/Vegas Golden Knights.The Pacific Division boasts the most combined points by its skaters (278) and will see Alex Pietrangelo and Mark Stone represent the host @GoldenKnights alongside the NHL’s top-two point producers. #NHLAllStar #NHLStats
