Video: Avalanche's MacDermid Fights Ducks' Deslauriers
During Wednesday's game between the Colorado Avalanche and Anaheim Ducks, Kurtis MacDermid and Nicolas Deslauriers dropped the gloves.
These two have quite a history with one another, as this is the fourth time that they have fought. They didn't disappoint in this one, either, as it was both spirited and lengthy. Both players threw some very hard punches, which isn't too surprising when remembering that each is known as being a tough customer.
MacDermid has been dropping the gloves a lot as of late. During Colorado's most recent game against the Minnesota Wild, he fought Jordan Greenway after the latter ran into goaltender Darcy Kuemper. Deslauriers also hasn't been too shy to fight, either, as he just did on January 9th's game against the Detroit Red Wings with Givani Smith.
The Avalanche would go on to defeat the Ducks by a 2-0 score. With this, they now have a 26-8-3 record, while the Ducks have fallen to 19-16-7.
