Video: Avalanche's Makar Scores Ridiculous Goal In Overtime
Cale Makar just keeps getting better. In overtime on Tuesday night against the Chicago Blackhawks, he spun around Kirby Dach before deking out Marc-Andre Fleury for the game-winner.
Everything about this play shows just how talented Makar is. What's so scary about this is that he's also still just 23 years old and just getting his career truly started. Therefore, he has plenty of time left to continue to score goals like these ones.
Makar has been fantastic this season yet again, as he has 14 goals and 14 assists in just 25 games. This kind of production from the back end is simply ridiculous. It also shows just how consistent he is, as he now has 122 points in his first 126 career games.
This was also a very big win for the Avalanche because they now are tied with the Minnesota Wild for third place in the Central Division. With that, they are 8-1-1 in their last ten games, so it's fair to say that they are starting to feel it again. They are now only four points behind the first-place Nashville Predators, too.
Nevertheless, what an unreal goal from Cale!
