Video: Bruins' Patrice Bergeron Makes Big Save
With Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark completely out of position, everyone thought Washington Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov would score an easy goal. Yet, Patrice Bergeron would step in for Ullmark and make a big save.
This was a very clutch moment from Bergeron, as the Bruins held a 3-2 lead at that point of the contest. Had that gone in, perhaps the game would have had an entirely different result.
Bergeron's noted for his excellent defensive play, which his four Selke Trophies display perfectly. However, who would have thought the 36-year-old center had pretty solid goaltending skills, too?
The Bruins would go on to win this game by a 7-3 final score. With this, they now have a 19-11-2 record and have won five out of their last games. The Capitals, on the other hand, are now 20-8-9.
