Video: Bruins' David Pastrnak Records Hat Trick
Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak is continuing his hot stretch of play, as he recorded a hat trick in Thursday night's game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Pastrnak's goals were all extremely important, as they helped carry the Bruins past the Flyers by a 3-2 final score. Pastrnak provided all of the offense, while Tuukka Rask shined in his first game since re-signing with the Bruins.
After a slow start to the regular season, Pastrnak has been playing some outstanding hockey. Over his last six games, he has eight goals and an assist. With his great production, it also isn't surprising that the Bruins have been winning a lot, too. In 34 games this season, he now has 16 goals to go along with 14 assists.
Since the Bruins broke up the "perfection line" and dropped Pastrnak to the second line, it's worked out marvelously. Taylor Hall and Pasta have formed great chemistry quickly, so perhaps this will be the team's lines moving forward.
