Video: Ducks' Trevor Zegras Pulls Off The Michigan
Every single time Trevor Zegras steps on the ice, something magical seems to happen. In Thursday's game against the Montreal Canadiens, 20-year-old successfully pulled off the Michigan and did so with ease.
This Michigan goal comes in the same season where Zegras made a beautiful lacrosse pass to Sonny Milano, which led to a goal. It's hard to find a young player as entertaining as Zegras to watch, and he's continuing to prove that with marvelous plays like this one.
Zegras is having an excellent season as a whole this year, too. In 40 games, he now has 12 goals to go along with 32 points. This comes after he recorded 13 points in his first 24 NHL games last season. At this juncture, it's clear that the Ducks made the right call selecting him with the ninth overall pick of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. He's also still just 20 years old, so we should be able to see more of this from Zegras for a very long time.
Although John Tortorella may not be a fan of these kind of plays, the majority of hockey fans are. What an amazing goal by Zegras!
