Video: Penguins' Boyle Scores Between-The-Legs Goal
Pittsburgh Penguins forward Brian Boyle isn't known for being the flashiest of players. However, that may have to change after the between-the-legs goal he scored Tuesday night against the Arizona Coyotes.
This was a great goal to see from Boyle. The 37-year-old of course did not play in the NHL last season, but one may not be able to guess that after this goal. In 29 games this season, he now has five goals to go along with an assist.
This goal was also a pretty important one for the Penguins, too. At that point in the contest, they had a two-goal lead with just over six minutes to play. Therefore, Arizona wasn't completely out of the game before it. However, that change after Boyle's goal gave the Penguins a 6-3 lead.
The Penguins would go on to defeat the Coyotes by a 6-3 final score. With this win, they have improved to 27-10-5, while Arizona has dropped to 10-27-4.
