After being out of the lineup for over a month, Rust has been nothing short of spectacular since his return. In his first two games of 2022, he has scored five goals and recorded eight total points. On the season, he now has seven goals and 10 assists in just 14 games.

This is good timing for him to get hot, as the 29-year-old winger is set to become an unrestricted free agent over the summer. If he keeps this up, he could land himself a very big deal - whether it's back with the Penguins or from another franchise.
