Video: Rangers' Kreider Scores Between-The-Legs Goal
In Friday's game against the Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers forward Chris Kreider secured a rebound in front and then scored a between-the-legs goal.
This is just one of many wonderful things that Kreider has done this season. The 30-year-old winger is having a career season and isn't showing any signs of slowing down. In fact, he's only continuing to get better. At this point of the year, he has a league-leading 31 goals to go along with 13 helpers. He already has set a new career-high in goals this campaign and has a little less than half a season to build on it.
Over his last eight games, Kreider has a ridiculous 10 goals to go along with two assists. Out of those eight games, he scored in seven of them, too. It will be interesting to see how he performs from here. If he can keep this kind of play up, he could win his first-ever Maurice "Rocket" Richard trophy.
The Rangers ended up losing to the Wild by a 3-2 final score, though. With this, they now have a 28-13-4 record, while Minnesota is 26-10-3.
