Video: Red Wings' Dylan Larkin Scores Beautiful Goal
In Friday's game against the Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin made a beautiful move around John Klingberg before beating Braden Holtby for the goal.
Larkin showed great confidence in this play, as he skated the puck all the way from his own end. Top players in this league can create chances out of nowhere, and Larkin clearly did with this fantastic goal.
After a disappointing 23-point campaign in 44 games last year, Larkin is continuing his wonderful bounce-back season. In 36 games, he now has 19 goals, 18 assists, and a plus-4 rating. With his increase in production, it also isn't surprising to see that Detroit is winning much more frequently this season, too.
Although this goal was a very nice one, the Red Wings did end up losing to the Stars by a 5-4 final score in overtime. With this, Detroit is now 18-17-6, while Dallas is 20-16-2.
