Video: Tanner Pearson and Carson Soucy Drop the Gloves
The Vancouver Canucks have been winning games lately because of their new head coach and the fact everyone has bought into the team-first system. This includes winger Tanner Pearson who was all about standing up for his teammates on Saturday night, dropping the gloves with Seattle Kraken forward Carson Soucy.
The play happened only five minutes into Saturday night's contest as Soucy delivered a huge neutral zone hit on Canucks forward Conor Garland. Pearson saw the whole thing unfold and took matters into his own hands.
Give Pearson a ton of credit because this isn't something he normally does and some people are going to say Soucy shouldn't have to fight here because what's wrong with a good clean hit?
