Video: Wild Score Two Goals In Four Seconds
During the first minute of the third period, the Minnesota Wild scored two goals in just four seconds. First rookie Matthew Boldy scored and then Mats Zuccarello added the team's second.
These goals were very important too, as the Wild were up by a 3-1 score before they occurred. Yet, after them, they landed themselves a four-goal lead and put a true stranglehold on the game. They also proved to give the team a massive boost, as they went on to defeat the Ducks by a 7-3 final score.
Boldy is continuing to be impressive during his first stint with the NHL club. In three games now, he has two goals, an assist, and a plus-5 rating. If he continues to produce at this rate, the 20-year-old will make it hard for the Wild to send him down.
Zuccarello is also continuing his fantastic year, as he now has 11 goals and 30 points in 28 games. He deserves far more recognition around the league for how much he's producing offensively right now.
With their win, the Wild now have a 22-10-2 record. The Ducks, on the other hand, have fallen to 19-14-7.
