Wild Place Forward On Waivers
The Minnesota Wild have placed forward Rem Pitlick on waivers.
The Wild originally claimed Pitlick off waivers from the Nashville Predators earlier this season. Because of this, the Predators now will have the first priority to claim the young forward.
Pitlick has been playing well for the Wild this season. In 20 games, he scored six goals and had 11 total points. However, his playing time has been decreased as of late. This naturally resulted in a drop in production. Over his last six games, the 24-year-old had just one goal.
If the Predators decide to pass on Pitlick, another team will surely claim him. He has played well for the Wild and showed that he can produce offensively at the NHL level. With all of this, it is a little bit of a questionable move by Minnesota.
Nevertheless, we'll have to wait and see what ends up occurring with Pitlick from here.
