Golden Knights Forward Named To All-Star Game
The NHL has announced that Jonathan Marchessault has been named to the All-Star Game.
At this time, it hasn't been announced who Marchessault replaced yet. It certainly is something Golden Knights fans should be ecstatic about, though, as they will be seeing another one of their players at T-Mobile Arena for the event.
This will be Marchessault's first-ever All-Star Game, so this is very exciting news for the 31-year-old forward. It's fair to say that he is deserving of this honor, as he has 20 goals and 12 assists in 41 games this season. It's simply been another very good campaign for him, and he now is getting rewarded for his excellent play.
Marchessault has been one of Vegas' best forwards since their inaugural season, and he hasn't been showing any signs of slowing down. His journey to the NHL was a good one, as he of course originally went undrafted but clawed his way up to the league and has been very good since.
Do you feel the NHL made the right call by adding him to the roster? Let us know in the comments!
