Video: Jack Eichel's First Goal With Golden Knights
In Sunday's game against the San Jose Sharks, Jack Eichel scored his first goal as a member of the Vegas Golden Knights.
Eichel first made a nice backhand feed to Chandler Stephenson in front, but the latter opted to skate the puck around the net instead of shooting. He then would pass the puck back to Eichel, and the superstar center would one-time it home.
This was Eichel's third game with the Golden Knights, so it's nice to see the 25-year-old get on the board. In total with his new team, he now has the goal, two assists, and a plus-1 rating. So far, for somebody who just had serious neck surgery, he has looked very impressive. As the year continues, it won't be surprising to see his offense jump up from here.
The Golden Knights would go on to defeat the Sharks by a 4-1 final score. With this, they improved to 29-18-4, while San Jose is now 22-22-5.
