Video: Sharks' Reimer Makes Ridiculous Save

In Tuesday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, San Jose Sharks goaltender James Reimer made a spectacular diving save to rob Alex Killorn.

Reimer found himself out of position and Killorn had a golden opportunity from the wraparound. Yet, Reimer showed immense effort by diving across the crease and somehow was able to stop the veteran winger from getting what looked like a sure goal.

The Sharks signed Reimer to a two-year, $4.5 million contract over the summer. So far with the team, he's been living up to it and then some. In 26 appearances on the campaign, he sports a 13-9-3 record, .915 save percentage, and 2.81 goals-against average. He's a big reason why the Sharks are surprisingly still in the playoff hunt at this juncture of the year, too. That is something not many hockey fans would have expected from them this season.

The Lightning would get the last laugh, however, as they went on to defeat the Sharks in overtime by a 3-2 final score. With this, they have improved to 30-10-6, while San Jose is now 22-20-4.
