Big Trade Between the Anaheim Ducks and Vegas Golden Knights
The Anaheim Ducks have acquired forward Evgeni Dadonov from the Vegas Golden Knights.
As others have put out there - not sure who was first - I'm hearing Evgenii Dadonov to the Ducks.

But nothing official. #VegasBorn
The 33-year-old Dadonov is having a fine season with the Golden Knights, recording 15 goals in 62 games, along with 27 total points. He held no-trade protection that helped him avoid 10 teams, however it's obvious a move to southern California was on the approved list.
The Golden Knights have their own financial issues to worry about as the acquisition of Jack Eichel really put a burden on their cap space. It was going to come down to either Dadonov or Reilly Smith being moved and we now have our answer on who they prefer to keep.
For the Ducks it's a great addition and someone who is under contract for next season as well at $5 million. They continue to battle for a playoff spot and will need to get on a heater late in the season to jump into a wild card position.
