Canadiens Forward Out Indefinitely
The injury bug is continuing to hit the Montreal Canadiens hard, as now Jonathan Drouin is out indefinitely due to an upper-body injury.
Drouin has been sidelined for a good portion of this season already, as he just returned last week after missing two months of action. Now he will once again be sidelined, and it could very well be another long-term injury given its current status.
When healthy, Drouin has produced fairly well compared to most of the team. Although he only has suited up in 34 games on the year, he is sixth on the Canadiens in points with 20. Had he stayed healthy more often, he'd be near the top of the list, too.
With the Canadiens being at the bottom of the NHL, there's no need to rush Drouin back. Still, it's hard to hear that the winger has to miss more time.
