Lightning Bring Back Forward
The Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired Riley Nash from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for future considerations.
Nash played in 10 games with the Lightning earlier this season but was claimed off waivers by the Coyotes. Yet, they now have brought back the 32-year-old forward. Although he will be with the Syracuse Crunch, for now, he will provide them with more forward depth in case of a rainy day.
It's been a wild year for Nash, as this is the third time he has been on the move - whether through waivers or traded. In 49 games between the Winnipeg Jets, Lightning, and Coyotes, he has four assists and a minus-5 rating.
Nevertheless, this is a very small move for the Lightning, but you can never have too many forwards when the playoffs come around.
