TRADE: Seattle Kraken Send Calle Jarnkrok to Calgary Flames
Turns it out made sense all along, Calle Jarnkrok is a member of the Calgary Flames. The Seattle Kraken sent the versatile winger to the Flames in a trade that sees the Kraken receive three draft picks.

To #Flames: Calle Jarnkrok
To #SeaKraken: Florida’s 2022 2nd round pick, 2023 3rd round pick, 2024 7th round pick
SEA retains 50% on Jarnkrok
The long time Nashville Predators forward started slow in Seattle and has turned it around in 2022. The 30-year-old has recorded 12 goals and 26 points in 49 games so far this season and will give the Flames a forward they can plug in all over their lineup. The best part is, it should be an easy transition to his new team:
Crazy, but true: Calgary Flames teammates Elias Lindholm, Calle Järnkrok and Jacob Markstrom all hail from Gävle, Sweden -- population 75,000.

They all work out together each summer. Lindholm and Järnkrok are cousins.
Sometimes the hockey world seems big. Other times ...
Small world indeed. Calgary is loading up as they have as good as shot as anyone to come out of the western conference. Built on defense and goaltending, the Flames have turned things around in 2021-22 and appear set to contend for the Stanley Cup. But if you ask their head coach, let's hope they don't run into the Colorado Avalanche.
WELCOME TO CALLE-GARY!

It's notable that the #Flames only have $128k in cap space.

Any further acquisitions will require shipping out cap hit in a near 1:1 ratio (or very close to it), either through trade, waivers claim, or assignment/loan https://t.co/xHAJQmmQHB
