Video: Golden Knights Howden Stretchered Off After Going Head First Into the Boards

It was a scary scene in Vegas on Thursday night as Golden Knights forward Brett Howden went head first into the boards after an awkward hit from Nashville Predators forward Filip Forsberg. Howden was already on his way down when Forsberg finished his check, resulting in a nasty collision against the boards.

The 23-year-old Howden is reportedly in stable condition and remained in hospital overnight. The Golden Knights forward had recorded 20 points in 46 games so far this season. Here's the hit as the NHL is such a fast game and you hate to see things like this happen:
