2 Coyotes Who Bounced Back During 2021-22 Season

The 2021-22 season is in its final stages, and it's fair to say that it's been an incredibly entertaining year. One reason for this is that we have seen plenty of players bounce back from rough 2020-21 campaigns. Thus, it feels like the perfect time to shine a light on two players from each NHL team who have done just that. To make this more fun, we will be choosing teams randomly based on a wheel.

In this piece, let's discuss the Arizona Coyotes.

Shayne Gostisbehere: At the time of the trade, the Coyotes did the Flyers a favor by taking on Shayne Gostisbehere's contract. Now, that trade looks like a genius move, as Arizona not only gained multiple draft picks for him, but he also has been excellent. In 79 games, he has 11 goals and 33 assists. With this, he leads Arizona defensemen in points and has become a major part of their blueline.

Nick Ritchie: After a disastrous 33-game tenure with the Toronto Maple Leafs, the 25-year-old found a new home with the Coyotes. Since joining the team, he has been a great fit and has been a major force. In 24 games with the club, he has a solid 10 goals to go along with four helpers. If he can keep this production up, he could be a nice trading asset for the Coyotes.
