2 Devils Done For The Season
The New Jersey Devils have announced that Miles Wood and Joonas Siegenthaler are done for the season.
Wood missed the vast majority of this season already due to having hip surgery. He returned to the team during March 27th's contest against the Montreal Canadiens but only ended up playing in three total games on the year. In them, he failed to record a point and sported a minus-2 rating.
Siegenthaler will not return this season due to a broken hand. Yet, even with this being the case, the 24-year-old has managed to play in a career-high 70 games this campaign. Overall, he provided a little bit of offense from the point in the process, as he had one goal and 13 assists.
With the Devils already out of the playoff race, it is probably best for these two injured players to sit out. They will now be focusing on healing and getting ready for the 2022-23 season this fall.
