Canucks Injury Report: Brock Boeser Out Indefinitely
On Tuesday after practice, the Vancouver Canucks announced that forward Brock Boeser will miss the team's game Wednesday night against the Vegas Golden Knights with an upper-body injury.
More details on the severity of the injury haven't been disclosed but Boeser is currently being evaluated and more information will be released in the upcoming days. With him still being evaluated it will also seem he's unlikely to play the game in Arizona on Thursday.Update: #Canucks forward Brock Boeser is out with an upper body injury.

Boeser briefly left Sunday's game against the Golden Knights holding his arm in discomfort following a collision with teammate Elias Pettersson. He eventually came back and played the rest of the game including overtime in the Canucks loss. With that being said, it seems the injury is related to his arm.

As it stands right now, the Canucks forward has 19 goals and 38 points in 64 games for his team this season. It will remain to be seen if he will return any time soon. While Boeser hasn't had his best season, he is still a key part of the team's offense.
On top of Boeser being out, the Canucks may also be without star defenseman Quinn Hughes who missed Tuesday's practice with a non-Covid related illness. This comes a day after the Canucks shutdown their practice facility after a couple of players were sick with non-Covid related illnesses. The Canucks could be entering Wednesday without two key players in the lineup. It will be confirmed tomorrow whether or not Hughes will join his team for their game against the Golden Knights or the Coyotes on Thursday.
Boudreau said Boeser (arm) is still being evaluated and won't make trip. Hughes is sick and may join team tomorrow in Vegas. Club shut practice down Monday because a couple of players were ill (non-COVID). #Canucks
