Flyers Sign Top Prospect
The Philadelphia Flyers have crossed a major item off of their to-do list, as they have signed prospect Bobby Brink to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Brink just completed his third season with the University of Denver, and it was his best by far. In 41 games, he had 14 goals and league-leading 57 points. With this kind of amazing production, he was among the finalists for the Hobey Baker Award.
When looking at how well Brink progressed this season, it's safe to say that the Flyers are ecstatic to have selected him with the 34th-overall pick of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. If this kind of offensive game can translate over to the NHL, the Flyers could have themselves a future top-six forward with him.
With Brink's contract starting immediately, we should see him in Philadelphia's lineup very shortly. He will certainly be a player for their fans to watch from here.
