Marc-Andre Fleury Comments on His Future in the NHL

Marc-Andre Fleury is having so much fun this season he doesn't want it to be his last. The veteran netminder confirmed recently he plans on playing at least one more season. The Minnesota Wild back stop caught up with La Presse's Katherine Harvey-Pinard and had this to say about his future in the game:

I would like to play at least another season. I decided that recently. I still love to play, I still have fun, the body's holding up - most of the time. But yes, one more season, and we'll see after.

Fleury's had quite the 18 months as he won the Vezina trophy as a member of the Vegas Golden Knights to then get traded to the Chicago Blackhawks for basically nothing. To then get moved at the trade deadline after the Blackhawks were a disappointment to the Wild, which appears to be going so well a contract extension could be developing.

Fleury is one of the all-time greats and currently sits third in NHL history with 517 wins, trailing Patrick Roy for second place by 34 wins. So far this season 'Flower' has tallied a .921 save % with the Wild and gives them another element to their dominant team.

If it's not Minnesota, look for Fleury to make his way back to the Pittsburgh Penguins next season to finish off his career with close friend Sidney Crosby.
