Video: Canadiens' Brendan Gallagher Calls Out Senators' Tim Stutzle

The Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators matched up on Tuesday night and while the game on the ice was entertaining, everyone is talking about what was said after the game. Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher wasn't shy with his comments during his press conference as the Habs forward ensured to point out the fact Senators forward Tim Stutzle needs to smarten up.

'Gally' was not happy with the amount of embellishment from Stutzle during the course of the game and had this to say via Sportsnet's Eric Engels:

More than half the games we've played against (Stutzle), he's laid on the ice and is right back out there next shift. He lays on the ice, he acts like he's hurt, he sells the call, he's on the ice that same power play. There's kids watching, we're role models, and if I was a teammate of his, I'd tell him to smarten up. It's just not a good look. Very talented player, very good player, (but) he needs to stop laying on the ice. It's embarrassing.

Stutzle has been known for drawing penalties and has 62 drawn since the beginning of the 2020 season, ranking him 3rd in the entire NHL. On Tuesday night he was getting tangled up with Canadiens forwards on the regular and one in which was at the end of the second period when Nick Suzuki went knee-on-knee with the Sens youngster, resulting in a two-minute minor.

We'll have to see what Stutzle has to say about it all, but here's everything Gallagher had to say on the matter:
