Blues Defenseman Ruled Out For Rest Of Series

The St. Louis Blues were hopeful that Torey Krug could return at some point during their current series against the Colorado Avalanche. However, according to Lou Korac, Krug has been ruled out for the remainder of it. This is still the case even if the Blues force a Game 7.

This certainly is rough news for the Blues, as Krug is their top offensive defenseman. The truth is in his statistics this season, of course, as he had nine goals and 34 assists in 64 games. In his three games this postseason, he also recorded three helpers.

Alas, we will need to wait and see if the Blues can complete their comeback in this series and beat the Avalanche without Krug. If they do, there's a chance that he would be back for round three.
