Kings Defenseman Has Surgery

The Los Angeles Kings have announced that Sean Durzi has had shoulder surgery. The 23-year-old defenseman is expected to be ready to go for the start of the 2022-23 season.

Durzi cemented himself as an NHL defenseman this season by putting together an excellent rookie campaign. In 64 games, he scored three goals and recorded 27 points. This kind of production from the point was certainly encouraging to see from the youngster, and it will be intriguing to see what he does for an encore during his sophomore season.

Alas, here's to hoping Durzi has a speedy recovery and can continue to improve as he gets more NHL experience.
