NHL Rumors: Kraken To Have Big Offseason

According to Geoff Baker, the Seattle Kraken are expected to spend a lot of money this summer through free agency. 

We recently reported that John Klingberg has been linked to the Kraken, but with this development, it appears that Seattle is pushing to make multiple big splashes. In a perfect world, the team would not only like to bring in an offensive defenseman but a top-six forward of some kind as well. 

The Kraken's first season certainly wasn't the best. They finished with a 27-49-6 record and were dead last in the Pacific Division. However, the team made it clear that they were planning to build their roster slowly. When it comes to the 2022 offseason, however, don't be surprised to see them sign at least one big-name player.
