NHL Rumors: Sidney Crosby Opens Up About Playing Future
While speaking with reporters, Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby said that he will play for at least three more NHL seasons. From there, he will contemplate what his next move will be for his career.
It's exciting to hear that one of the game's best players will be around for at least three more years. However, "Sid the Kid" is no longer a kid and a grizzled veteran at this juncture. Thus, we truly could be entering the final few seasons of his career, and that's strange to think about.
Crosby isn't showing signs of slowing down, as he put together another excellent campaign. In 69 regular-season games, he scored 31 goals and recorded 84 points. With that, he also had 10 points in six playoff games this year, so he is still dominant.
Alas, once 2025 is here, we will have to see if Crosby decides to hang up his skates.
