Penguins Defenseman Set To Return
The Pittsburgh Penguins have activated Nathan Beaulieu off injured reserve. With this, the team now has another defenseman available at their disposal.
The last time Beaulieu played, he was a member of the Winnipeg Jets. Although he was injured, the Penguins still decided to acquire him from the Jets at the deadline. Now, the 29-year-old will be hoping to get into the lineup and assist Pittsburgh in their series against the Rangers.
Although Beaulieu is not a star, he is capable of being effective when being utilized in limited minutes. Furthermore, he is exactly the kind of player that teams want during the postseason, as he plays a physical game. In 24 games this season with the Jets, he recorded four assists. Let's see if he gets into action for Pittsburgh from here.
