Rangers Sign Forward
Even in the middle of their playoff run, the New York Rangers are making roster moves. The Blueshirts have signed Gustav Rydahl to a one-year, one-way contract for next season. He will carry a $750,000 cap hit.
Rydahl has spent the last decade playing in the Swedish Hockey League, but he will now move to North America. With Farjestads BK Karlstad this season, the 27-year-old scored 15 goals and added 15 assists in 44 games. Overall, it was a strong season for him, and he will now be hoping to have a spot in the Rangers' bottom-six next season.
Overall, there's no harm in the Rangers giving Rydahl a shot. It will be intriguing to see how he performs for the team next season.
